Objective

The primary purpose of this rehabilitation is to re-energize the Attraction, bringing it up to today’s standards both on an interactive and entertainment level as well as technological while at the same time increasing it’s reliability and decreasing its operational downtime.

History

20 minutes outside of downtown Atlanta, the Monster Plantation attraction is located within the “Confederate Land” area of the park. It was originally designed and produced by Gary Goddard Productions and opened to the public in 1981. SFOG’s Operations and Maintenance staff currently operate the site. Other than minor maintenance modifications, the attraction is much the same as it was when it opened.
