The Adventures of Sindbad
Experience the thrilling adventure of Sindbad sailing the underground waterway laden with talking temple wall, fire-breathing, triple-headed dragon, pirate ship, and treasure house, to name a few.

Description
This attraction is a classic, story-driven boat ride loosely based on the tales of Sinbad the Sailor from Arabian Nights. Guests board boats that travel along an underground waterway, navigating through caverns filled with immersive scenes. The ride features encounters with a fire-breathing, triple-headed dragon, undead pirates, a torture chamber, a Cyclops, and other animatronic characters, culminating in a narrative where Sinbad rescues Princess Ariana from the sorceress Koura, who is trapped in a glass bottle. The ride includes dialogue, such as skeletons warning riders and sirens luring them, enhancing the adventurous atmosphere
Experience
The ride is known for its intricate, large-scale sets and animatronics, including a standout giant three-headed dragon. It offers moderate thrills, appealing to both thrill-seekers and families. The ride includes two small drops, which may surprise some riders expecting a tamer experience. It’s often compared to Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean due to its immersive storytelling and boat-based format.

Cultural Significance
The Adventures of Sindbad is the oldest existing dark ride in South Korea, having outlasted other early attractions like Earth Village and Jungle Exploration Boat. Notable visitors, including Michael Jackson, reportedly enjoyed this ride during visits to Lotte World
History
The Adventures of Sindbad was planned and constructed to open alongside Lotte World Adventure in 1989 but faced technical difficulties, delaying its opening to January 15, 1990, with a construction cost of 14 billion won. No mention of a fire is noted during this period
